I'm a photographer
and illustrator living and working in the North-East of Scotland. One
of my great
passions in life - apart from good wine, great food and rock music!
- is to try and capture the varied
moods and textures of the surrounding landscape in a variety of artistic
mediums.
Before moving to Scotland in 1982, I worked as a photographer in the music business, photographing most major rock bands for the music press and record companies.
I use both conventional photography, infrared photography (which creates ethereal, glowing images) and painting, combined with digital art to create a wide variety of images.
I enjoy painting and photographing the plants and landscapes of the North East of Scotland, taking a closer look at the textures and form occuring in the landscape and attempting to capture the essence of the ever changing seasons and weather conditions.
